Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: - Sample and test aggregate, asphalt and concrete in accordance with specifications and standards - Assure all safety policies and procedures are followed to prevent any and all unsafe actions, processes and behaviors observed - Other duties assigned as needed Compensation: The wage range for this position is $21.74-$33.69/hr. | |||
Minimum Qualifications: | |||
- Quality Control experience preferred, but not required. Training will be provided - Good math, record keeping and problem solving ability - Computer spreadsheet experience preferred - Engineering and statistics background helpful, but not necessary - Ability to study, take and pass QC certification exams with adequate time and training provided - Must be able to lift material samples of 75 lbs. approx. 10 to 15 times per day and on occasion more depending on duties required - Ability to work overtime - Strong communication skills and positive interactions with a variety of customers required - Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check, physical/functional exam and drug screen - Display a professional and courteous attitude towards all team members and customers | |||
